Hi, I’m Danielle!
I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist, and Life Coach with a background in healthcare and a personal history that mirrors what my clients are living.
I’m a woman, a mom, and someone who had to find her own life-balance. I have held space for others to heal, grow, and find their voice. And somewhere along the way, I had to learn to hold that same space for myself. Creativity has always been the core of her healing process. Throughout the past 30 years, I have struggled with health challenges which created obstacles and reeked havoc on my mental health and body. Instead of pushing the negative feelings down I incorporated daily journaling, meditation, and creating a space just for her own well-being to aid in my journey to a better self.
I had to learn to give myself permission to need rest. Not as a reward for finishing everything on my list — but as a non-negotiable part of being human. I had to learn that self-care is not something you earn. It is something you owe yourself.
I had to learn to allow myself to feel frustrated — really feel it — without letting it spill onto the people I love most. Frustration is not the problem. Pretending it is not there is. So I stopped pretending. I started feeling, processing, and choosing how to respond instead of react. That shift changed everything.
